The epitome of global interior design
By Hend Seif El Din
rawn to interior design by her love of textiles–especially the golden threaded and beaded Saris her mother used to wear–she very soon realized that interiors were her true calling, after having initially started a degree in European Studies.
Returning to London as the Managing Director and Creative Director of Intarya, Ezralow spent six years covering a wide spectrum of interior design projects, which drew a large deal of attention to her signature blend of contemporary, clean lines with old-fashioned glamour, which also earned her numerous awards.
At the beginning of 2012, she finally set up her own, London-based studio, Ezralow Designs, alongside her husband, working on projects all across the globe.
Having just launched her first collection of furniture, Bronze, at the Salon Internazionale del Mobile in Milan in April, in collaboration with Italian firm, Orsi, she christened them Bronze, due to the fact that every one of the initial eight designs features some sort of bronze detailing, usually, in a very subtle manner.
Taking its inspiration from Art Deco, Bronze is tailored to fit today’s glam through the artist’s creative combinations of antiqued bronze with gray-stained sycamore, parchment, mirror, lacquer, silk, and cashmere. Giving the collection a timeless edge, its clean lines, fine materials, and luxurious finishes, allow the individual pieces to work harmoniously within any given context. Furthermore, Bronze is also ergonomic, comfortable, and functional.
