Luxottica’s Perfection

The evolved Italian Eyewear Company

What started out as a manufacturing company of optical frames in 1961, Luxottica evolved gradually–but surely–over the years.  Italian Eyewear Company, however, was founded in 2010, making it the official–and sole–distributor of the Luxottica Group S.P.A.  Controlling over 80 percent of the world’s major eyewear brands ensures the Italian company’s positioning as the world’s largest.

Some of the Group’s best known brands are Ray-Ban, Persol and Oakley.  Italian Eyewear Company also produces its own sunglasses, as well as prescription frames, for a multitude of designer brands, including Chanel and Prada, whose designs and trademarks are used under license.  Furthermore, Luxottica also produces sunglasses for Giorgio Armani, Burberry, Stella McCartney, Versace, Vogue, Miu Miu, Tory Burch and Donna Karan.

The company’s profile includes even more world-renowned brands, such as Bulgari, Coach, Paul Smith, Polo Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co. and many more.

And it doesn’t stop there!  Every year, and with each new campaign launched, Italian Eyewear offers fun and entertainment for those who attend, allowing their guests to socialize and have a great time!  Furthermore, they get to enjoy certain perks, like walking away with an amazing new pair of sunglasses, for example.  In a nutshell, a client walk in and walks out looking–and feeling–much for fashionable!
